Bridal Shower Invite

It has definitely been a long time since I have posted anything. Things have just been super crazy and busy! So my bridal shower is just a few weeks away now and in between registering, picking out wedding bands, finalizing and ordering invites I have managed to get some time to work on some bridal shower stuff. So my latest project was my bridal shower invites. I have been so anxious to get back to using my cricut machine, so by me making my bridal shower invites it gave me a chance to get back to creating! My bridal shower doesn't really have a theme, but will have many different bright colors. The design I decided to go with was a ring box in bright pink and green! I made these up really quick because I completely forgot to get pictures before we sent them out.

Here are the dimensions if you would like to give this a try:
8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper cut in half (4 1/4)
score at 4 1/2 and 9 3/4
Wedding Info 4 by 4 1/4
White 5 by 4
Pink 4 3/4 by 3 3/4
Bridal Shower Cricut Cartridge Ring cut at 3 1/4
 Satin Ribbon

I used white satin ribbon, this is just what I had laying around.
We actually used square invites, but I forgot to get a picture before we sent them out..Oops!

Reception Details

Last Thursday my mom and I made a well needed trip to The Reception Room to pick out and see all the details for the reception. We are going for an elegant and romantic look, so lots of candles, lighting and flowers. Going to do satin chair covers, organza sashes, organza flocking overlays and table runners. Will be alternating colors on the tables. Our wedding colors are light blue, chocolate brown and white. Here is a sneak peak...

Head table will be something like this one above but in our colors. No fabric draping over the back though, and the front will have both brown and blue draping across it. Table and backdrop will have up lighting behind them not string lights and table will be bunched together in random sections with rhinestone buckles. Will be draping the ceiling with four wide panels of white tulle with string lights and they will get connected to the center hoop chandelier. For centerpieces we will be alternating between the centerpiece I posted earlier and white lighted lanterns with blue hydrangeas. So excited, I can't wait to see all these details come together!!!

Hello, Cupcakes!!

For our wedding we are doing both cupcakes and cake. The cake will be just for us to cut and cupcakes will be for the guest. We are fortunate enough that my fiances SIL owns her own cupcake shop which makes things so much easier for us. Picking out flavors was so hard, they are all amazing and she has over 100 flavors to choose from. I have changed my mind so many times!{smiles} But for now this is what we ended up picking... key lime pie, blue velvet, cherry limeade, dark chocolate raspberry, apple pie ala yum, pb cup. classic vanilla.

 Dark Chocolate Raspberry
Red Velvet(ours will be blue), PB Cup, Dk Choc. Rasp.

Cricut Creations

My wonderful fiance got me a cricut machine for my birthday this last March and I absolutely LOVE it! You can not believe all the things this machine can do, it's incredible. You can buy all kinds of cartridges, they have fonts, holidays and special occasions, some tv shows, batman and superman etc. I bought two specifically for our wedding not to long ago, Tie the Knot and Bridal Shower. Here are a few creations I have made with the machine so far with these two cartridges.

Here is what the cartridges look like.

Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party Invites

Invites will either be inside or on the back

Place cards and Favor Boxes...you can make them in many sizes and with any color card stock

Bridal Shower Purse Game

One game I want to play at my shower is called The Purse Game,  I made them using microsoft word. It took some time typing it all out and making the boxes perfect but after all that I really like the way it came out. I couldn't decide on just one color to make the umbrellas along the outside so made some in black and some in teal. I think it could be trimmed down a little more and a purple ribbon at the top. Will have to mess around with different ideas and see what I end up doing!

My Beautiful Ring

Of coarse I have to show you all my amazing e-ring!
